Fr\u00e5gan om nedl\u00e4ggande av Gismestads skola. Skolstyrelsen sammantr\u00e4dde p\u00e5 tisdagen i n\u00e4rvaro av folkskoleinspekt\u00f6r Hedeg\u00e5rd f\u00f6r att behandla en fr\u00e5n representanter f\u00f6r Gismestads skolrote inkommen skrivelse med anh\u00e5llan om att distriktets skolfr\u00e5ga skulle upptagas till f\u00f6rnyad behandling, emedan en del nya synpunkter framkommit sedan i h\u00f6stas, d\u00e5 det besl\u00f6ts att Gismestads
skola fr\u00e5n och med n\u00e4sta l\u00e4s\u00e5r skulle nedl\u00e4ggas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bland annat framh\u00e5lles i skrivelsen att barnantalet p\u00e5 grund av nyinflyttning stigit, och dessutom har det visat sig, att skolskjutsar \u00e4ro mycket sv\u00e5ra att
anskaffa. Folkskoleinspekt\u00f6r Hedeg\u00e5rd sade sig mycket noga ha studerat detta skolproblem och han kunde efter moget \u00f6verv\u00e4gande ej tillstyrka n\u00e5gon annan l\u00f6sning \u00e4n att nedl\u00e4gga skolan i Gismestad.
Dock var han villig att p\u00e5 grund av r\u00e5dande transportsv\u00e5righeter tillstyrka, att Gismestads skola som ett provisorium tills vidare finge uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5llas och att extra l\u00e4rarekrafter d\u00e4r skulle anst\u00e4llas tills andra f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden intr\u00e4da. Omorganisationen av distriktets skolor skall likv\u00e4l ske i enlighet med f\u00f6rut fattat beslut, vilket inneb\u00e4r att l\u00e4rarpersonalen vid Gismestads skola f\u00f6rflyttas till Bankeberg och att en d\u00e4r \u00f6vertalig l\u00e4rare erh\u00e5ller transport till annat skoldistrikt. Skolstyrelsen besl\u00f6t i enlighet med detta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H\u00f6sten 1942 flyttar l\u00e4rarna Martin \u00c5hlstr\u00f6m och Ingrid Andersson till skolan i Vikingstad.
